Attention to Detail: Marjan’s attention to detail was very helpful throughout the process.Marjan always kept us informed about updates and status changes which is very important. Marjan kept us informed of the delays and actually had us on calls directly with the cabinet manufacturer to understand the latest timing. We were supposed to take delivery of the cabinets in early/mid-April, but ran into issues with the cabinet manufacturer which extended the delivery date to mid-May due to labor issues related to Covid-19. Communication: Marjan was very good at communicating with us about the timeline and updates and changes.Marjan’s estimate of being out of our kitchen for less than a week held true. The other contractor told us that we would not have any access to our kitchen for one month. Marjan estimated that we would be out of our kitchen for less than a week. One of the major considerations in choosing Marjan was his timeframe from demolition to being back in our kitchen and having a ‘working kitchen’ which we defined as having our refrigerator back in the kitchen, a working sink and a working dishwasher. Marjan distinguished himself with his design expertise, attention to detail and his flexibility. Both proposals were competitive and in a narrow range. Reason for Selection of Marjan: Marjan was one of two contractors that we interviewed and received proposals from. No significant changes to electrical or plumbing. No change in the configuration of the layout of the kitchen or location of appliances. Scope of Project: Replace existing kitchen cabinets and countertop.
